Apptank S.A.S., owner of the Control Ganadero brand, develops specialized technology so that producers of all sizes manage their livestock with traceability, productivity and real data. Since its launch at Agroexpo Colombia in July 2013, The platform has evolved towards an agrotech ecosystem that integrates offline work, connected hardware, reports, electronic identification and livestock AI.

Our history is marked by innovation applied to the producer. With a pioneering history of more than 14 years promoting technological adoption and education for the sector, Livestock Control had a key public milestone at Agroexpo Colombia, in july 2013, when it was presented as an app to keep the resume of each animal, herd traceability and farm productive information. Since then, the evolution of the platform has been constant: its public renewal in 2017 expanded services to interconnect the rancher, its workers and its advisors, and in 2023 added new connectivity demonstrations with scales and chip readers. 2 Behind this vision is Arturo Arciniegas, founder and general manager of Apptank S.A.S., who has led the development of Livestock Control as a commitment to modernize Colombian and Latin American livestock farming. From 2024, John Ospina leads programming and platform development, accompanied by a complete team of professionals from the developing sector, support and advice. This multidisciplinary work is already publicly reflected in the way the brand defines itself.: a solution built with livestock knowledge, software experts and close support to the producer. 8 Today Livestock Control is a technological ecosystem that integrates individual registration and traceability, health check, reproductive and productive, milk and meat management, inventories, reports, multi-farm, user profiles, work without internet with cloud synchronization, integration with Bluetooth scales and readers, import and export in Excel, alerts, agenda and tasks, Livestock AI and electronic identification.
